Overview

Continually re-investing to improve Quality, Coverage, and Efficiency

The New England Crane companies have provided high quality bridge crane service and new installations in New England since 1987. In 2001, we opened New England Crane in Lewiston, ME to better serve northern New England. In 2006, we purchased CT Crane and Hoist in Plymouth, CT (25 miles east of Hartford) and cemented our position as the region's premier provider.

In 2008, we moved our Massachusetts headquarters from a 7,500 sq-ft shop in Chelmsford, MA to a 20,000 sq-ft building on Progress Ave in Tyngsboro, MA. Eleven years later, Mass Crane grew again, this time staying in Tyngsboro, moving 2 miles south to Potash Hill Road. Their new, 50,000 sq-ft, state of the art facility is the largest and most modern crane fabrication shop in the northeast. The 75ft by 350ft main fabrication floor includes a 960 sq-ft paint booth, multiple welding stations, two vertical band saws, a recessed trailer dock, and two 20 ton, dual hoist, 69ft span bridge cranes. Under the same roof you will find separate 50ft by 40ft bays for small part fabrication and hoist service, a 75ft by 40ft climate controlled component storage bay, as well as Mass Crane's service, sales, engineering, and administrative departments.

Our people possess the experience, expertise, and integrity to manage your job successfully.

Our sales, engineering, and service staff has over 300 years of experience in the industry. As a result, the people involved in your project have more than likely designed, built or serviced a crane like yours in a facility like yours before. This has many benefits for the customer.

After a short initial visit or conversation, your New England Crane salesperson will have a good understanding of the needs and challenges specific to your situation. Between sales and engineering, we draw on these many years' experience to identify the most efficient, effective, and economic crane and hoist system and implementation path for you.

Following the order, a Project Manager (PM) will typically make a site visit to layout the proposed system in your facility. At this time, the PM will review the phases of the job with you, and lean on his or her experience to identify any potential problems and delays. The Project Manager will typically generate an approval drawing for you that shows the crane/hoist system integrated in your facility, and be your single point of contact for job coordination.
